Please join us for Family Formation Night

On September 20th we will launch our Family Formation Night where we will be offering our education programs to support discipleship and spiritual formation for all members of the Emmanuel family. Our offerings for Spanish and English speakers of various ages are as follows:

 

Spanish

  • Alfa - the essentials of the Christian Faith for Adults

  • First Communion - usually for 7-8 year-olds who are preparing for First Communion

  • Confirmation - usually for teens seeking confirmation

 

English

  • Emmanuel Academy - for 6-12 year-olds to receive Christian instruction through a curriculum, Feasting on the Word, that aligns with our lectionary.

  • Catechism - for 13 to 130 year-olds who are seeking to be confirmed in the Anglican Church or who are interested in better understanding the Christian Faith with an eye on Anglican distinctives

  • Adult Formation Series - for mature teens and adults of all ages to explore the Faith, and various topics through the lens of faith.

 

Bilingual

  • Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - for 3-8 year-olds to receive Christian Instruction and spiritual formation in an immersive learning environment that accommodates both Spanish and English speaking children,

  • Nursery Care - for the littlest ones, 0-3 year-olds, to receive care and prayer while their parents attend one of the educational offerings for adults.

 

The schedule for the evening is as follows:

 

  • Family Food - EAC Community Center - 5-6pm - Bring your own food or grab a bowl of chili or soup

  • Family Eucharist - EAC Sanctuary - 6-6:45pm - Gather for a briefer bilingual Eucharist

  • Family Education - Our different programs will be offered at different locations throughout our facility - 6:45-8pm - be equipped and transformed
